ASAF Damas is run by ASAF and lives at dama.asaf.fyi. For anything to do with your data, write to sistemadelicencas@gmail.com.
To make the system work: signing you in, showing who is online, delivering challenges, keeping your game history and protecting the service against abuse. We do not build commercial profiles and we do not run targeted advertising.
Other players see only your player name, your profile photograph if you have sent one, whether you are online, and the results of games played against you. Your e-mail address is never shown to other players. The photograph is optional, you can remove it whenever you like, and it appears only in games at a distance and on the friends list.
The system administrators receive automatic notices of recorded activity at sistemadelicencas@gmail.com, for technical oversight and security. We do not sell or hand data to third parties.
We use one session cookie, which is what keeps your account open as you move around, and one marker stored in your own browser holding your theme preference, your language and your answer to the cookie notice. We use no advertising cookies and no external analytics.
Every Friday a backup of the database is generated automatically, sent compressed as an attachment to the administration address, and kept for a limited time.
At any time you may ask to see your data, to correct anything wrong, to have the account deleted, or to receive a copy of what we hold about you. Just write to sistemadelicencas@gmail.com from the address you signed up with. We answer within thirty days.
Passwords are stored with a modern hashing algorithm. Connections use HTTPS. Database access is restricted, and the administration areas require their own sign-in.
The service is open to all ages, but we ask that anyone under 13 signs up with the knowledge of a responsible adult.

By using ASAF Damas you accept these terms. If you disagree with any of them, it is best not to carry on.
A free game of draughts, played in the browser. You can play without an account against the computer, or with someone beside you. With an account you also get the dashboard, the friends list, games at a distance, the chat and your game history. The service is provided as it stands, with no guarantee of permanent availability.
The details you give should be true, and the e-mail address should be yours. The password is your responsibility: do not share it. If you suspect someone has got into your account, change it and tell the administrators.
We all undertake to play fair. The following are not allowed: using automated programs to play for you, attacking the system or trying to reach restricted areas, pestering other players with repeated challenges or scheduled games, and using offensive player names. Accounts that persist are suspended.
The chat inside games at a distance exists for arranging the game, for instance to say that you have to leave halfway through. Insults, threats or advertising will lead to the account being suspended. Messages are recorded and may be reviewed by the administrators if a complaint is made.
The code, the design, the sounds and the game logic belong to ASAF. They may not be copied or exploited commercially without written permission.
We may take the service down for maintenance. Games in progress can be lost to a technical or network failure. We are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service, nor for decisions you take on the strength of the system's hints.
You may ask for your account to be deleted at any time. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, giving notice by e-mail wherever possible.
These terms may change. Anything significant is announced on the dashboard. Carrying on with the service afterwards means you accept the new terms.
Mozambican law applies. Any dispute will be settled by agreement between the parties wherever possible.

We use no Google Analytics, no social network pixels, and no third-party cookies of any kind. If you clear these entries in your browser the game still works: it simply goes back to its opening settings.
